Debating if I should start reading this novel since completed fanren. What are your ideas? Will he stay humble or end up as jerk and abandoned his wife and kids(if he has any)?

A lot of people will disagree with me, justifying it as he wants to protect his family and friends and the world but the novel is kind of like Fanren, never home to spend time with wife even though he loves her very much, and like Fanren, he leaves her behind while he ventures to a higher realm, although in Fanren, the next book Nangong Wan joins him and has a daughter, this is why when someone mentioned it is hard to have children, the main reason is because even if they want to be intimate it will affect their cultivation, as a result it is harder to have children, but the author seems to forget that a certain few days is all it takes to get pregnant lol Just one day, and just a little wiggly thing is all it takes.

If you plan on reading the novel, it is a good read, I enjoyed it, although if you are reading in Chinese, it will be like reading a high schooler's writing though, it isnt like Soul Land or Fanren lol

I have no problems reading from a high school student. Great example is "eagle eating chicks" awesome writer. And honestly, I prefer new and upcoming writers than well established ones because they bring new ideas and perspective to the world of wuxia/fantasy/xianxia/etc. Still following new novels daily like gold summoner, I eat monsters in monster town, and unscientific beasts.

mhm, although some of gripes I have with the authors are the ending, they cant seem to end it nicely and author's bad habit of making the actions of the main character always righteous, like demanding something that belongs to an enemy that is already theirs legitimately, but if is the villain it is not ok lol
And lastly some of the authors love to use millions, billions and even light years in terms of how far their spirit, spiritual conscious, size, small world etc is also when they punch someone, they flew over 5 kilometres away and smashed into a mountain, ummm you do know that 5 km is far and you wont be able to see that person, since they will be a tiny speck lol

But I usually stop reading those novels that starts to jump hundreds of years. "I eat tomatoes" likes to do that , probably the only novel recommend from him is snow eagle lord.

Being humble has nothing to do with going after the vulture scorpion pair or being confident. what I mean is that he become slightly more abrasive, slightly less humble, kind of like he is growing, it isnt a bad thing. He is still kind to those who are kind to him, his family and friends and extract revenge against those who has done bad by him, his family and friends

I enjoyed the novel, one of my favorites actually. just be warned it is long, somewhat repetitive, and the power scaling is off the freakin charts lol. And yeah he completely ditches his fam for long periods of time later on. iirc, one time he just rides around the universe on a comet for 80000 years to gain life experience or something

I just remembered something, to be fair throughout the novel, he doesspend time with his family, through a VR multiverse used by the aliens, created by the most "powerful" humanoid in the muiltiverse (clearly I am hinting that he isnt the most powerful being in the universe :P without spoiling too much lol) the Palace of War God technology is kind of based off this VR multiverse, where taste, feelings, smell and sight is like in real life, Luo Feng does have a mansion in the VR, and he uses a slither of his conscious to connect to it in order to "spend time" with his family but like Erasmus
mentioned he is physically away for extremely long periods of time, and sometimes he cant connect to the VR, it mentioned in the novel that he spends as much time there with Xu Xin as possible. Xu Xin makes more effort to spend time with him though. She starts a galactic company with Luo Feng's brother to be able to move closer to him in the VR multiverse, since it is almost like a real multiverse. By closer I mean to move to the capital of the VR multiverse where Luo Feng's VR avatar is based. Luo Feng ends up with millions of descendants, and he doesnt know most of them lol

Tomatoes novels usually comes to an erupt end by the mc reaching to the highest lvl and then that's it. And usually before that it's like constant hundred years of fast forward cultivation. Not to mention the unrelated transmigration filler storyline thrown in there. Might just read the first 1k chapters and end where I think it's good to end.

Yeah the first part of the novel is good, then it becomes repetitive, and towards the end, time skip is used and Luo Feng begins to create new life (through experimenting with actual non humanoid living creatures) yet he then ascends to a higher realm, leaving everything behind, like why create new life?? only to leave Most authors seem to rush towards the end and ends it abruptly
The only thing that kept me reading was the mystery of the Oceans universe and the mysterious giant humanoid in there which is related to one of Luo Feng's master and the creator of Earth

He regrets chen qianqian but did not try to go after the crystal race lookalike to see if it's her samsara. He spends hundreds of years trying to find nangong but the moment he found her, he goes to immortal realm. He plans to bring back mo yuwen to yellow maple valley but decided to go to the crystal mine. And every time he breaks through, it's always pills, resources, or things.

She was treated no better than a servant, worse, a slave. He could have just let her go at anytime, but no.
And yes we are aware that he doesnt want to die for those who wants to defend him lol and it is for that only reason he is like that in the novel

Not really opportunist, he runs away. he ran away from Phoenix jolting duocultivation with mupeiling, he knows well that pounding the pestle in the morter is what was needed for her advance. 80 percent of his running away, if he would just stood his ground everything would be much easier. For xin ruyun, he played with the mother(wen siyue) and then took advantage of the daughter. anyways, I tried swallowed star, 5 chapters in and I'm like... Nope I'm not reading this.

You should take it with grain of salt. Earth part of the story is excellent, universe starts even better, but quality very soon starts dropping. I simply couldn't stand it anymore 300 chapters before ending and dropped it.

Not reptilian butOnly a handful of people in the world knew who he was, he was hiding hiding and living in seclusion, since a lot of people seeks him out, as he is a mastercraftsman he makes the best weapons and defensive artifacts, which is why a lot of the aliens wants Earth because it is created by Luo Feng's secret master, also he is related to the Ocean universe which is the only universe that isnt affected by each era of the multiverse. Each era collapses the multiverse and requires, someone to "build and create" a universe that is protected by a bubble in order to survive the collapse, so you have a handful of surviving previous era universe which will serve as the main antagonistic faction against, the Hong Alliance which isnt related to Hong from Earth.
The creator becomes Luo Feng's master but that in itself is in name only, he only gives him advice and some cryptic information about the history of Earth, and rarely does he craft anything for him, and even then he demands Luo Feng to give him expensive and rare materials or weapons in exchange
And halfway to the end of the novel is ridiculous, I just hope the studio changes it like they did with Fanren

It starts good, but it suffers the same problem as all SCIFI series. First season enemy is already too OP since his accidental fart can destroy civilization. And when heros defeat him... writers get stuck with one problem... how to even make stronger enemy for season 2 and the exaggeration makes plot nonsensical. But, they still follow it up in season 3 and 4 until plot is so nonsensical show already lost its viewers and it is cancelled

This one is absolutely bad in this respect. Monsters in size of millions of miles. rooms in size of trillion miles (Earth has a diameter of 7,926.3 miles at the equator so it doesn't amount even as speck of dust of one room)... and so on. Even if one has mad wild imagination, it is hard to process it. Not to mention, final part of the plot is best described as WTF

Just think of this like that. Monsters of that size even noticing Lou Feng would be the same as you noticing microbe and then attack that microbe because it is intruding your space
